Guwahati, May 22: Popular Assamese singer Zubeen Garg was admitted to Nemcare Hospital in Guwahati on Wednesday night after he felt unwell during the premiere of the Assamese film Bhaimonda.

The film is a biopic on veteran filmmaker Munin Baruah. Sources said Zubeen felt uneasy at the event and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Doctors have confirmed that his condition is stable and he is likely to be discharged soon.
