In response to recent landslides and adverse weather conditions that disrupted road and rail connectivity to Guwahati, the State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) has announced a special interview opportunity for candidates from Dima Hasao and Barak Valley districts who missed their scheduled Class-IV interviews.

According to an official notice, landslide incidents near the Jaginga-Lampu section of NH-27 have severely affected transportation, prompting the Railways’ NFHQ to issue a bulletin on June 23, 2025, regarding the cancellation and rescheduling of trains. Taking this into account, the SLRC has extended special consideration to impacted candidates who were unable to attend their interviews.

The interviews were being conducted under notice No. SLRC-G-IV/Assam/Advertisement for Analogous Posts-IV/2023-24/01/128 dated May 27, 2025. A revised interview schedule will be issued soon for affected candidates to ensure fair opportunity.

Candidates from the affected districts are advised to regularly check the official website of ASSEB (formerly SEBA) at www.sebaonline.org and follow daily newspapers for further updates.
