Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday announced a major infrastructure initiative aimed at boosting connectivity across the state.
According to the Chief Minister, the government has earmarked ₹28,000 crore under a special package to construct 445 kilometres of roads and 28.5 kilometres of bridges and flyovers. The projects are focused on enhancing last-mile connectivity and improving transport infrastructure in key regions of the state.
