The Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways and Ayush – Sarbananda Sonowal joined the Rozgar Mela from Maligaon in Guwahati on Saturday, where more than 200 successful candidates received appointment letters.
Speaking at the occasion, the Union Minister said, “Today is a historic day for the youth of India. Under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as many as 75,000 youths joined the workforce. He rightly highlighted the role of our youth in shaping and building the new India during the Amrit Kaal is crucial for India to become an Atmanirbhar Bharat by 2047.”
“The government led by PM Modi remains deeply committed to empowering the youth and enabling them to become drivers of this new strong India,” – he added.
He called upon the youth to join forces and remain committed to the visions of dynamic leader Narendra Modi for the prosperity and growth of India.

More than 200 new recruiters from various government departments, including Railways, Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), etc., received appointment letters in this programme.
It is worth noting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi instructed to line out ten lakhs employment opportunities within 1.5 years in various central government departments.
