The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Assam has published the final electoral roll under the Special Revision (SR) 2026 for all 126 Legislative Assembly Constituencies in the state.

The Special Revision process was initiated following the Election Commission of India’s instructions dated 17 November 2025. A door-to-door verification campaign was carried out across Assam from 22 November to 20 December 2025. The consolidated draft electoral roll was released on 27 December 2025, and the period for submission of claims and objections ran from 27 December 2025 to 22 January 2026.

The final voter list identifies 4,78,992 deceased voters, 5,23,680 voters who have shifted residences, and 53,619 multiple entries. Additionally, 6,27,696 people over 18 years of age were found not to be registered in the voter list, while 1,46,342 potential voters over 17 years of age have been included.
