Guwahati, Dec 18: Nishtha Priyam Sharma, a Class 9 student from Guwahati, has won the second prize in the National Energy Conservation Day Painting Competition. The award was presented to her by Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar, during a special ceremony in New Delhi to commemorate National Energy Conservation Day.

The competition encourages young students to raise awareness about energy conservation and promote sustainable energy practices through creative expression.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma congratulated Nishtha for her remarkable achievement and extended his best wishes for her future success.
