Guwahati, May 24: Pokhila Engtipi from Karbi Anglong district, Assam, secured the bronze medal in the 5000-metre race walk event at the World Masters Games 2025 held in Taipei City, Taiwan.
The World Masters Games is an international multi-sport event that features veteran athletes from across the world. Pokhila’s performance in a competitive field brought recognition to Assam and India.
