Sangmir Teronpi, an athlete from Karbi Anglong, has been selected to represent Assam in the 23rd National Junior (Under-20) Federation Athletics Championship. The championship is scheduled to take place in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, from June 22 to June 24.

She will compete in the 3,000-metre and 5,000-metre track events during the national-level competition.
