Implementation Of Rs 60,000 Cr Projects From Advantage Assam Summit Underway: CM

Guwahati, May 19: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday announced that the implementation of projects worth over Rs 60,000 crore has commenced, following the investment proposals received during the Advantage Assam 2.0 summit held in February.

The summit had garnered investment proposals amounting to Rs 5.18 lakh crore. The Chief Minister said the state government expects to realise projects worth Rs 1.50 lakh crore within the first year.

Sarma made the remarks at a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signing ceremony in Guwahati, where 20 new projects worth Rs 22,900 crore were formalised. These projects are aimed at enhancing industrial infrastructure and economic development across Assam.
