Guwahati, Jun 17: IndiGo will launch a direct flight between Jorhat and Delhi starting September 20, 2025, fulfilling a long-pending demand for better air connectivity in Upper Assam. The announcement comes after discussions between Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and the airline’s management.

Alongside the Jorhat-Delhi route, IndiGo will also introduce additional early morning daily flights on the Guwahati-Silchar and Guwahati-Dibrugarh routes from the same date.

Furthermore, the airline plans to commence Guwahati–Navi Mumbai flights as part of its Winter 2025 schedule.

These new services aim to strengthen intra-state and inter-state air connectivity and offer more convenient travel options for passengers in Assam.
