Sivasagar, Dec 30: Temjen Imna Along, the Tourism Minister of Nagaland, was honoured with the Damchao Dimbeswar Gogoi Memorial Samannya Award at the 35th Central Martyrs’ Day celebration held on Monday, 30th December. The event, organized by the Central Committee of the All Tai Ahom Students’ Union (ATASU), took place at the Sivasagar Girls’ College Auditorium in Assam.

Minister Along expressed his gratitude for the recognition, stating, “It was a unique privilege to receive the ‘Damchao Dimbeswar Gogoi Memorial Samannya Award.’ The warm welcome and the honor of being draped in Tai Ahom attire made the occasion truly special. It’s an experience I will always cherish.” He also thanked the people of Sivasagar for their exceptional hospitality during the event.
