The Assam State Textbook Production and Publication Corporation Limited has distributed nearly 4 lakh school textbooks to pupils; in order to promote the value of education.
According to reports, the distribution of 3,84,000 books reportedly took place across several districts, including – Kamrup Metro, Dhubri, Lakhimpur, Jorhat, Nalbari, Morigaon, and Darrang.
Its worthy to note that the concerned initiative was flagged-off by the Chairman of Assam State Textbook Production and Publication Corporation Limited – Debananda Hazarika on Wednesday.
Addressing the mediapersons, Hazarika remarked that more school textbooks will soon be distributed to rest of the districts.
