Guwahati, Jun 13: Birendra Prasad Baishya, recently elected to the Rajya Sabha, met Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma at his official residence on Friday. He was accompanied by Assam ministers Keshab Mahanta and Atul Bora.

Chief Minister Sarma extended his congratulations to Baishya and encouraged him to actively contribute in Parliament towards the progress and development of Assam.
