NF Railway Extended Services of Two Special Trains; Additional One-Way Specials Announced

Agartala, June 03, 2026: In view of the increased passenger demand during the summer season, Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has extended the services of two special train pairs and announced the operation of two additional one-way special trains to ensure smoother travel and reduce congestion.

The services of Train No. 05932/05931 (Dibrugarh–Kolkata–Dibrugarh) have been extended for eight additional trips in both directions. Train No. 05932 (Dibrugarh–Kolkata) will now run from June 6 to July 25, 2026, while the return service, Train No. 05931 (Kolkata–Dibrugarh), will operate from June 8 to July 27, 2026, maintaining the existing schedule, stoppages, and composition.

Similarly, Train No. 03407/03408 (Bhagalpur–Katihar–Bhagalpur) special services have been extended for three additional trips in both directions. These trains will continue to operate till June 4, 2026, with no changes to their existing timetable and stoppages.

Additionally, to further accommodate passenger convenience, two one-way special trains will run on June 4, 2026. Train No. 05630 will operate from Guwahati to Tirupati, while Train No. 05862 will run from Rangapara North to Vijayawada.

According to NFR Chief Public Relations Officer Kapinjal Kishore Sharma, these measures aim to improve connectivity, facilitate smoother passenger movement, and provide a more comfortable travel experience during the peak summer rush. Passengers are advised to check detailed timings and stoppages on the IRCTC website and NFR’s official social media platforms before commencing their journey.
