Over 3.65 Lakh Homes In Assam Now Connected To Jio Broadband: Reliance

Reliance Jio has connected more than 3,65,920 homes across Assam with its broadband services, covering urban centres, smaller towns, and semi-urban areas, the company said in a statement released on Tuesday.

The company’s 5G-based Fixed Wireless Access service, JioAirFiber, added 7,709 new users in June alone, taking its total user base in the state to 1,33,279.

JioFiber, the wired broadband service, also saw an increase in subscribers—from 2,27,198 in May to 2,32,741 in June—marking 5,543 new connections.
