The public hearing for the proposed Greenfield Dolu Airport project in Assam’s Cachar district was completed peacefully, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Monday.

Taking to his official X handle, the Chief Minister called it a major step forward in the government’s plan to transform Barak Valley into a hub of connectivity and development. He also thanked all stakeholders for their cooperation and support during the process.

The Greenfield Dolu Airport project is expected to enhance air connectivity and contribute to the socio-economic growth of southern Assam.
