Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma held a review meeting with officials in Baksa to assess the progress of various government welfare schemes aimed at uplifting local communities.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister reviewed the implementation of several key initiatives, including Orunodoi 3.0, Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan, Mukhyamantrir Atmanirbhar Asom Abhiyan, and Eti Koli, Duti Paat.

Key highlights from the review:

The number of beneficiaries under Orunodoi 3.0 in Baksa and Manas constituencies is set to increase to 59,000.

Scheme implementation for workers of Fatemabad and Dumahi Tea Estates was specifically reviewed.

Approximately 4,000 new ration cards are planned to be issued in Baksa and Manas.

Around 1.8 lakh families in the district are expected to benefit from various welfare programmes.

The review meeting reflects the state government’s focus on monitoring on-ground execution of welfare initiatives to ensure maximum outreach and impact.
