A Royal Bengal tiger cub was rescued from a bamboo grove behind a house in Gomeri, falling under the jurisdiction of Helem Police Station, on Wednesday.

Following the sighting, the Officer-in-Charge of Helem PS promptly arrived at the spot, controlled the crowd, and coordinated with the Forest Department.

The cub was safely rescued by forest officials with assistance from the police.
