Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created a special sculpture at Puri Beach to mark International Day of Yoga 2025, prominently featuring the traditional Assamese Gamosa. The sand art depicts Prime Minister Narendra Modi adorned with the iconic red-and-white cloth, showcasing Assam’s cultural heritage on a national platform.
The artwork reflects this year’s Yoga Day theme, “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” promoting unity, wellness, and environmental harmony. Pattnaik’s tribute has garnered widespread appreciation for merging cultural identity with the global spirit of yoga.
