Zublee Baruah Wins Best Female Playback Singer At 9th Assam State Film Awards

Popular Assamese singer Zublee Baruah was awarded the Best Female Playback Singer at the 9th Assam State Film Awards for her performance in the film The Midnight Song. The award was presented by the Governor of Assam, Lakshman Prasad Acharya, and the Minister of Cultural Affairs, Bimal Bora.

Baruah dedicated the award to her brother, renowned singer Zubeen Garg, calling him her “eternal guiding star.” She expressed gratitude to the film’s composer and singer-songwriter Meghan Rose Scott, lyricist Rajdweep, director Arunjit Borah, producer Aparajita Bhuyan, and the entire team of The Midnight Song. She also acknowledged her brother Dony Hazarika for his work on dubbing.

Baruah extended thanks to her family, friends, and the people of Assam for their continued support and encouragement.
