Agartala, Octor 03, 2025: Former Tripura Chief Minister and Lok Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb landed in Kolkata on Friday to take part in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) organizational program in West Bengal, marking a strategic move by the party ahead of the upcoming assembly elections.

Deb received a warm reception at the Kolkata airport from senior leaders of the West Bengal BJP, signaling his prominent role in the party’s campaign machinery. His visit comes shortly after the BJP appointed him as co-chairman for the state’s assembly election preparations.
