The Tribal Welfare Department has increased stipends for Janajati students to support higher education. Additionally, the government is backing initiatives under the Banadhan project and assisting the resettlement of Bru-Reang people, who arrived from Mizoram after enduring 23 years of hardship, by providing them support in Tripura.
Bhattacharjee and Dr Saha were accompanied by ministers Pranajit Singha Roy and Tinku Roy, former MP Rebati Tripura, BJP state general secretary Bipin Debbarma and others were present.
