Tripura BJP to Hold Statewide Programmes from June 5 to Mark 12 Years of Modi Government

Agartala, June 03, 2026: A significant organisational meeting was convened under the initiative of the Tripura State Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to commemorate the completion of 12 years of the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre. The meeting focused on reviewing ongoing activities, highlighting developmental achievements, and outlining future strategies.

TIDC Chairman Nabadal Banik, who attended the meeting on Tuesday, said it marked “12 years of Service, Good Governance, Trust, and Public Welfare” under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He noted that detailed discussions were held on organisational activities, public welfare initiatives, and the government’s developmental milestones.

Banik further stated that the meeting provided important guidance to party workers regarding their roles and responsibilities, aligned with the vision of building a developed and self-reliant India. “Under the leadership of our Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi—who works tirelessly for the welfare of the nation and its people—we all remain committed to realizing the dream of a ‘Viksit Bharat’,” he added.

Meanwhile, BJYM State Vice-President Vikki Prasad said that the NDA government will complete 12 years in office on June 7, 2026, describing the period as one of “historic achievements” driven by the Prime Minister’s “Nation First” resolve.

He informed that to commemorate “12 Years of Trust, Development, and Public Welfare,” a series of programmes will be organised across Tripura from June 5 to June 21, following directives from State BJP President Abhishek Debroy.

Prasad also mentioned that a preparatory meeting was held at the State Party Office, where key leaders, including State Vice-President and campaign convener Tapas Bhattacharya, Vice-President Papia Datta, and other members of the campaign team, participated to ensure successful implementation of the planned events.

The upcoming programmes are expected to highlight the achievements of the central government while strengthening grassroots-level engagement across the state.
