Shillong, Dec 11: British rock legends Def Leppard are set to make their much-anticipated debut in India with a three-city tour next March. The band will perform in Shillong on March 25, followed by shows in Mumbai on March 27 and Bengaluru on March 29. The tour is being organized by BookMyShow Live.
Frontman Joe Elliott expressed his excitement, saying, “We’re thrilled to finally bring our music to India and look forward to connecting with our fans live.” Guitarist Phil Collen added, “It’s been a long time coming, and we promise an unforgettable night for everyone attending.”
Def Leppard, known for their timeless rock anthems and multi-platinum albums, have sold over 110 million records worldwide. Their iconic albums Pyromania and Hysteria feature classics such as Pour Some Sugar on Me and Rock of Ages. The band was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2019 and has received two RIAA Diamond Awards in the U.S.
With over 20 million followers online, this Indian tour will give fans the first chance to witness the band’s legendary live performance after more than four decades since their formation.
