Acting on a tip-off about the dumping of contraband in the BOP Srinagar area of Tripura, the Border Security Force (BSF), in collaboration with Tripura Police, carried out an operation.

During the operation, seven bundles of sarees valued at ₹6,59,500 were seized. The items were believed to be meant for smuggling.
