Meghalaya, August 12: In a joint operation with Meghalaya Police, BSF troops apprehended seven Bangladeshi nationals and two Indian facilitators at a checkpoint.

The operation comes amid ongoing unrest in Bangladesh, prompting BSF Meghalaya to heighten security and adopt a multi-tier dominance strategy along the border.

The apprehended individuals were handed over to the concerned police station for further disposal and legal action.
