Agartala, August 2: In a joint operation with a sister agency, the Border Security Force (BSF) apprehended 7 Bangladeshi nationals, including 1 male, 5 females, and 1 child, at a mobile check post in the Bhatiabari area of Gomati district.

The apprehended individuals, hailing from various districts in Bangladesh such as Khulna, Feni, Dhaka, Munshiganj, and Norai, were detained at around 9:30 am.

Preliminary questioning is currently underway to gather more information.

The BSF has intensified its vigilance and domination along the Tripura border to prevent infiltration and trans-border crimes.
