In a successful operation, the Border Security Force (BSF) personnel of the 4th Battalion intercepted a major smuggling attempt along the international border in East Khasi Hills District.

The operation resulted in the seizure of contraband items valued at over ₹10 lakh, significantly disrupting illegal smuggling activities in the region.
