Border Security Force (BSF) personnel in Tripura successfully thwarted a major smuggling attempt along the Indo-Bangladesh border. The BSF seized a large quantity of contraband, including rice, sugar, cigarettes, and other goods, valued at ₹3,12,410.

The goods were intended for illegal smuggling into Bangladesh, but the BSF’s timely intervention prevented their transfer. This operation highlights the BSF’s commitment to strengthening border security and curbing cross-border smuggling activities.
