The Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya Frontier successfully intercepted a large-scale smuggling attempt, recovering contraband valued at over Rs 22 lakh along the international border.

The seized items included cigarettes, blankets, sugar, liquor, and cattle. An investigation has been launched to identify the individuals behind the illegal trade.

The BSF continues its efforts to maintain border security and curb cross-border smuggling activities in the region.
