The Border Security Force (BSF) successfully thwarted multiple smuggling attempts along the Indo-Bangladesh border in Tripura, seizing contraband items valued at ₹17 lakh. The operation led to the interception of goods including Phensedyl, Ganja, sugar, and mobile phones, totaling ₹11,20,307, which were intended for illegal transport into Bangladesh.
In a separate series of raids, the BSF also rescued cattle and confiscated additional contraband items, including Phensedyl, liquor, and other smuggled goods, worth ₹6,22,208. The actions highlight the BSF’s continued vigilance and efforts to curb illegal cross-border trade.
