Additional Director General (ADG) of the Border Security Force (BSF), Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal, along with Inspector General (IG) of the BSF M&C Frontier, Ravi Kant, met the Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, at Raj Bhavan in Imphal on Thursday.

During the meeting, the senior BSF officials briefed the Governor on the prevailing security situation along the India-Myanmar border and discussed the operational preparedness of the force in the region. They also highlighted ongoing initiatives aimed at maintaining peace and stability in the sensitive border areas.

The officers emphasized the importance of continued coordination with state law enforcement agencies and civil administration to bolster internal security. They reiterated the BSF’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the nation’s borders and maintaining peace.

Governor Bhalla appreciated the BSF’s efforts and stressed the need for sustained synergy between central and state agencies in addressing emerging security challenges.
