Agartala, Feb 19: The Border Security Force (BSF) Tripura Frontier successfully thwarted an attempt to smuggle cattle across the Indo-Bangladesh border on February 18. In a targeted operation in the Panisagar area, BSF troops intercepted a vehicle loaded with six cattle, preventing their illegal transportation to Bangladesh. Two suspects were arrested during the operation.

In another operation on the same day, BSF personnel apprehended an Indian national attempting to cross the International Border at Putia in Sepahijala district. The individual was taken into custody for further legal proceedings.
