Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Tuesday attended the 32nd Annual Ritual Ceremony of Khwangjeng Lairemba Lairembi Haraoba held at the District Police Headquarters Complex in Imphal West.
Describing the occasion as deeply sacred and spiritually significant, the Chief Minister said the traditional ritual reflects the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the state. He noted that the ceremony is a solemn invocation of divine blessings for peace, protection, and harmony in the coming year.
He stated that such rituals embody the collective faith of the people in seeking strength and guidance to ensure a safe, resilient, and harmonious society.
The Chief Minister further remarked that the revered deities have long been regarded as eternal guardians, protecting the people, dispelling divisive forces, and fostering unity and development.
Praying for the well-being of the state, he expressed hope that divine blessings would continue to guide Manipur towards lasting stability, harmony, and progress.
