Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Monday called on Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at his office in New Delhi to discuss the prevailing security situation in the state.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister L. Dikho during the meeting. The leaders held what was described as a constructive discussion on key and critical issues concerning Manipur’s security scenario.
During the interaction, Rajnath Singh assured that the security and safety of Manipur remain a top priority for the Government of India. He reiterated the Centre’s commitment to extending all possible assistance to ensure a peaceful and secure environment in the state.
Expressing gratitude after the meeting, the Chief Minister thanked the Defence Minister for his continued support and guidance in safeguarding the interests of the people of Manipur.
