Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand on Wednesday chaired a Combined Headquarters Security (Unified Command) meeting at the State Secretariat, with Home Minister K. Govindas, the Chief Secretary, Security Adviser, Director General of Police, and senior officials from the Army and central armed forces in attendance.
The meeting conducted a comprehensive review of the prevailing law and order situation and related security concerns across the state. Detailed deliberations were held on measures to address the current challenges in accordance with constitutional provisions, with a focus on restoring and maintaining peace, stability, and public safety.
Reaffirming its commitment, the government stated that all necessary steps are being taken to safeguard the lives and interests of the people while ensuring the enforcement of law and order across Manipur.
