Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Minister P. Paiwang Konyak has said that land donations made with conditions are posing a major challenge to the timely implementation of government development projects in the state.

The Minister made the remarks during his visit to the recently upgraded Community Health Centre (CHC) at Satakha in Zunheboto district. The visit was part of the second phase of his statewide tour under the ‘Viksit Nagaland for Viksit Bharat’ initiative.

Following an inspection of the CHC building, Konyak urged landowners to donate land for hospitals and other public infrastructure as an act of humanity and selflessness, without setting conditions that delay progress.
