Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order), L. Kailun, on Sunday inaugurated a new Cyber Lab at the Imphal East District Police Headquarters. The event was attended by several senior police officers.
The newly established facility is expected to significantly strengthen the police’s capabilities in investigating cyber-related crimes and other complex cases involving digital evidence.
Authorities have also confirmed plans to set up similar labs in other districts across the state to bolster cybercrime investigation infrastructure.
