In a significant development in the case of missing person Chesam Abdul Kadir of Paobitek Mayai Leikai, Imphal West, police have revealed that the individual is deceased. Following further investigation, authorities discovered that the victim had been killed and buried.

The body was exhumed today in the presence of an executive magistrate, a forensic team, and family members.

A criminal case has been registered, and police have assured that a thorough investigation is being carried out. So far, nine suspects have been arrested in connection with the case. Authorities have affirmed that all individuals involved in the crime will be apprehended and brought to justice.
