Agartala, July 29, 2025: In a bid to resolve the pressing civic issues of Fatikroy assembly constituency, State Minister and local MLA Sudhangshu Das convened a high-level review meeting on Tuesday at the conference hall of Ambedkar College, Fatikroy.

The meeting brought together top officials from the Public Works Department (PWD), Electricity Department, Drinking Water and Sanitation, and Health Engineering Department along with the Unakoti District Magistrate, Sub-Divisional Magistrate and Pradhans of various Gram Panchayats under the constituency.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Minister Das said, *“We have reviewed in detail the progress of ongoing works and the status of basic services like roads, drinking water, and electricity in the Gram Panchayat areas. The purpose of this meeting is to ensure that government services reach the grassroots without delay.”*

He emphasized the importance of utilizing the allocated funds efficiently. “The state government under Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha is committed to balanced development across Tripura. This meeting focused on the proper implementation of budget allocations under the current financial year 2024-25, and we are aiming for 100 percent execution at the earliest,” he said.

During the session, Panchayat representatives presented specific grievances related to inadequate road conditions, irregular electricity supply, and scarcity of drinking water in their respective areas. Responding to these inputs, Minister Das instructed department officials to take swift action.

“Wherever there is a delay or obstacle, we must act immediately to resolve it. Development cannot wait,” the Minister asserted.
