Agartala, January 10, 2025: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) launched a series of simultaneous raids across seven locations in Tripura on Friday, targeting individuals and organizations suspected of involvement in financial irregularities and drug trafficking.

The operation began early in the morning, was carried out under heavy security to maintain law and order during the search and seizure activities.

According to official sources, the raids are part of an ongoing investigation into financial crimes and the illegal drug trade in the region. ED officials are reportedly examining documents, digital records, and other evidence to uncover links between financial fraud and organized drug trafficking networks.

While specific locations remain undisclosed, sources suggest that urban hubs such as Agartala, Nandannagar, MBB Airport area, Sonamura, Udaipur etc. are under scrutiny. These areas are known to be vulnerable to drug trafficking activities.
