Agartala, January 14, 2026: Tripura Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday invoked the adage “failure is the pillar of success” while addressing party workers at an organisational meeting in the Pratapgarh Mandal. Reflecting on the constituency’s recent electoral ups and downs, he urged BJP cadres to learn from past mistakes and prepare for a stronger comeback.

Speaking at the gathering, Dr. Saha expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would secure victory from the 13-Pratapgarh Assembly constituency in the 2028 state elections. “Victory and defeat are part of politics,” he said, “but it is through introspection and learning from defeat that we build a stronger future.”

The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of discipline within the party, cautioning workers against falling into what he described as the “chaos and confusion” created by the Left Front. He advised party members to remain consistently engaged in public service and to maintain close coordination between grassroots workers and leadership. Regular organisational meetings, he noted, are essential to strengthening internal unity and outreach.

The meeting was attended by Member of Parliament and Tripura BJP President Rajib Bhattacharjee, the Pratapgarh Mandal president, and other senior leaders and workers. The session underscored the need for collective efforts in welfare initiatives and maintaining party cohesion at all levels.
