Agartala, June 02, 2026: The final electoral roll for the upcoming Village Committee elections under the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) will be published on June 15, according to the Tripura State Election Commission.

Addressing a press conference on Monday, State Election Commission Secretary Anurag Sen informed that the draft voter list for the Village Committee elections was published on June 2. Voters can submit claims and objections regarding the draft electoral roll until June 9. After scrutinizing and resolving all applications, the final voter list will be released on June 15.

Sen stated that preparations for the Village Committee elections began immediately after the completion of the TTAADC general elections. As part of the preparatory process, the Commission first issued a notification for the finalization of polling stations and subsequently initiated the voter list revision exercise.

The upcoming elections will cover more than 2,600 seats across 587 Village Committees under the TTAADC. To facilitate smooth polling, the Commission has designated 1,550 polling stations across various blocks within the ADC areas.

The State Election Commission has appealed to all eligible voters to carefully verify their names and details in the draft voter list and submit any necessary claims or objections within the stipulated period to ensure the accuracy of the final electoral roll.
