Former Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh on Friday said it was an honour to host TIPRA Motha Party founder and leader Maharaja Pradyot Manikya at his residence.

Highlighting the longstanding historical and cordial ties between Manipur and Tripura, Biren Singh said both states continue to share common concerns, particularly on issues of illegal immigration and encroachment.

During their meeting, the two leaders discussed possible areas of cooperation to address these challenges. Biren Singh praised Maharaja Pradyot’s steadfast commitment to the people of Tripura and the Northeast, expressing confidence that united efforts would help overcome regional issues.
