Former Member of Parliament from Outer Manipur, Dr. Lorho S. Pfoze, has resigned from the primary membership of the Naga People’s Front (NPF).
In a letter addressed to the NPF president on September 11, the 65-year-old doctor-turned-politician cited “personal reasons” for his decision. Pfoze, who hails from Senapati district and belongs to the Mao Naga community, described the move as “not easy” and expressed gratitude to the party for allowing him to serve in various capacities.
Pfoze was elected to the Lok Sabha in 2019 from the Outer Manipur constituency on an NPF ticket.
