Agartala, September 25, 2025: A historic Mega Jan Suraksha Camp was organized today at the community hall of Nalchar RD Block by Tripura Gramin Bank, marking a significant step in promoting social security and financial inclusion.
The event was graced by the Governor of Tripura, Indrasena Reddy Nallu as the Chief Guest. Minister for Panchayat, Higher Education, and GA (Political) Department, Kishore Barman, Punjab National Bank’s Executive Director, Bibhupada Mahapatra, Zilla Sabhadhipati Supriya Das Dutta, along with several distinguished dignitaries attended as special guests.
The program commenced with the National Anthem, followed by a ceremonial welcome, lighting of the lamp, and speeches by the guests highlighting the importance of social security initiatives. Additional District Magistrate of Sepahijala, RBI’s General Manager, and Tripura Gramin Bank Chairman Satyendra Singh addressed the gathering, stressing the role of financial inclusion and social protection schemes.

In his speech, Governor Indrasena Reddy reaffirmed the government’s commitment to extending the benefits of financial inclusion and social security schemes to every citizen.
One of the key highlights of the program was the distribution of cheques worth ₹2 lakh each to five nominees under PMSBY/PMJJBY schemes, reflecting the effective implementation of these flagship social security programs.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Regional Manager (South) of Tripura Gramin Bank. The day’s activities wrapped up with cheque distribution, visits to stalls, and interactive sessions with the public.
The Mega Jan Suraksha Camp once again demonstrated that Tripura Gramin Bank is not just a financial institution but also a driving force in advancing social security, financial literacy, and rural empowerment.
