Governor, Speaker And MLAs Extend Christmas Greetings To People Of Manipur

On the occasion of Christmas 2025, Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla, Speaker of the Manipur Legislative Assembly Thokchom Satyabrata, and MLAs Khemchand, Lokeshwar, K. Robindro and K. Meghachandra have extended warm greetings and best wishes to the people of the State, particularly the Christian community, through separate messages.

In his message, Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla said that Christmas, celebrated on December 25, commemorates the holy birth of Jesus Christ and is regarded as one of the most sacred festivals of the Christian faith. He described Jesus Christ as the embodiment of peace and compassion, who devoted His life to spreading the message of forgiveness, love and brotherhood. The Governor noted that the teachings of Jesus Christ continue to inspire humanity across the world to follow the path of harmony, tolerance and goodwill.

Expressing hope that Christmas 2025 would usher in peace, hope and joy in Manipur, the Governor urged the people to celebrate the festival by strengthening bonds of unity and reaffirming their collective commitment to building a harmonious and prosperous State.

Speaker Thokchom Satyabrata and the MLAs also conveyed similar greetings, wishing that the festive season inspires love, understanding and solidarity among all communities in Manipur.

Their messages called upon the people to uphold the values of compassion and goodwill, reflecting the true spirit of Christmas.
