India Upholds Principle Of Peaceful Coexistence, Says Nagaland MP Phangnon

Kohima, Jun 21: Rajya Sabha MP from Nagaland, S. Phangnon Konyak, reiterated India’s commitment to the principle of peaceful coexistence at the international level while addressing the Second Parliamentary Conference on Interfaith Dialogue held in Rome.

Speaking at the global forum, Konyak highlighted India’s adherence to the principles of mutual respect, non-interference, and non-intervention in international relations. She noted that India’s approach is rooted in its civilisational ethos, which continues to guide its conduct even amid global challenges.

She lauded the conference as a meaningful initiative aimed at promoting unity, cooperation, and collective efforts towards building a peaceful and prosperous world. The event is jointly organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the Italian Parliament, in collaboration with Religions for Peace.
