A meeting of District Level Officers (DLOs) was held on Tuesday at the Office Chamber of the Deputy Commissioner, Jiribam, under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Krishna Kumar, IAS, to review preparations for the “Prashashan Gaon Ki Ore 2025” campaign. The campaign will be observed in Jiribam district during Good Governance Week from December 19, 2025.
Addressing the meeting, DC Krishna Kumar briefed the DLOs on the objectives and implementation strategy of the initiative, describing “Prashashan Gaon Ki Ore” as a flagship programme of the Government of India aimed at strengthening citizen-centric governance and ensuring last-mile delivery of government schemes. He stressed the need for coordinated and concerted efforts by all departments to achieve the campaign’s goals.
The Deputy Commissioner instructed that each line department should organise one camp in every Gram Panchayat, with concerned departments conducting at least six camps during the campaign period. He also informed that a District-Level Camp is planned for December 23, 2025, and directed all departments to work in close coordination to ensure its successful conduct.
Emphasising convergence and coordination, DC Krishna Kumar directed line departments to address public grievances on the spot, particularly those related to departmental schemes and programmes. He further underlined the importance of regular monitoring and evaluation to assess progress, identify gaps, and enhance citizen participation in governance.
The Deputy Commissioner also announced that a district-level workshop will be held on December 23, 2025, at the camp venue itself. During the workshop, departments will compile and share details of the services being provided, while discussions will also be held on District@100, best practices, and success stories.
All DLOs were instructed to submit daily activity reports for compilation and upload them on the designated portal throughout the campaign period.
