Agartala, June 09, 2025: Job aspirants for the post of Special Executive under Tripura Police staged a protest in front of the City Center here in Agartala on Monday demanding immediate publication of recruitment results and completion of the selection process.

Frustrated by the prolonged delay, the candidates alleged that a recruitment notice was issued in 2022 for 6,062 Special Executive posts. Although both physical and written examinations were held shortly afterward, the final results are yet to be published even after nearly three years.

“There has been no update since the exams. It feels like the recruitment has been buried in files. We have waited long enough,” said one of the protesting candidates.

They further claimed that the prolonged silence from the department has left thousands of unemployed youths disheartened. “We are not demanding anything new. We are only asking the government to complete the process it initiated,” another aspirant remarked.

With slogans and placards in hand, the protestors appealed directly to the Chief Minister. “We request Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha to intervene personally and ensure that the results are published without any further delay,” the candidates urged.

The demonstrators warned that if their demands are not met soon, they would intensify their movement in the coming days.
